Draggletail
I'm a bit of a sensitive thin skinned type. A wrong word or two can put me out for a while.
The_DADDY
I'm quite thick skinned if it's directed at me. I'm VERY thin skinned if it's directed at my kids.

YorkieontheTyne
Having worked with the public for over 40 years I’m thick skinned. However I don't suffer fools gladly.

The 'hurts' don't necessarily come from the the public though. They can come from friends and family, arguably the worst. Fortunately I haven't suffered that, or at the very minimum at least. Do you get told to 'man up'? Is being emotional a female trait?

I've never been told to 'man up' and I certainly don't see being emotional as a female trait!
