RJRB Posted September 6 Share Posted September 6 The original post referred to Hoyle St and it’s immediate environs which as far as I am concerned includes Daniel Doncaster’s ,the old BISRA site the Cementation furnace and doubtless several other small businesses. I was under the impression that the furnace was originally built by Daniel Doncasters, who operated the site before moving, and before the site was used by BISRA. Hi PhotoJames, A friend of mine was Managing Director of Daniel Doncaster's & I rung him yesterday & he confirms your information that the BISRA site was previously owned & occupied by Daniel Doncaster's.
