Cambridge Street Collective is set to be Sheffield’s newest food destination and social hub, complete with 24+ kitchens, rooftop bars, a cookery school and much more, over 3 levels!

Brought to you from the award-winning team behind Cutlery Works, you just know it’s going to be good and we can’t wait to see it come alive!

The Milestone Group, the company behind some of Sheffield’s favourite food venues, has been chosen to run Cambridge Street Collective,  a culturally diverse food destination. The collective will feature a contemporary food hall, cookery school & fine dining experience.

The highly anticipated restaurant will occupy the venue’s top floor & boast a rooftop pre-dining bar & dining terrace – created by celebrated Chef Luke French & wife & business partner, Stacey Sherwood-French, the pair behind, amongst others, the award-winning Krynkl restaurant, JÖRO.

I hope it’s a success. They must be confident that it will attract plenty of customers, given the size of the food hall. Definitely not somewhere I would go to eat, but I wish them well.

fantastic, just reading those names made my stomach rumble!

i've not really got much of an idea of what to expect from 'Homeland' or 'Baity', but i intend to correct that as soon as possible!

Nothing to stop the owners moving into the new developments if they wanted to.

However, given Chubbys closed in 2020 and the owner's plan to reopen at a different location has come to nothing 4 years on, I suspect they  simply decided to take the money and move on.

An institution it may have been at the time, and I was certainly not a stranger frequenting it on a night out - but ultimately times change. Tastes change and there's plenty of the other places to sufficiently satisfy the drunk hungry crowd.
