he's got a point.

people who moan about a few quid for parking will also tell us (with a straight face), that they're the kind of big spenders that the city needs to attract.

as someone who has food experience in sheffield city centre a while ago, it simply will not work people will not pay the prices certainly at first it should go well as its new and a novelty, the quality will tell once its been open a while can they  continue it ???  there simply isnt the interest in Sheffield city centre to sustain this , its a shame as it looks great but Sheffield is not Manchester or london or Birmingham even leeds come to that, thats where it needs to be .

we visit a similar place in Dubai when we go there and the place is rammed full from the minute it opens to the end with a selection of over 40 vendors, dont think there are more than 10 here ??

The place looks great. But as expected when I saw the BBC page, looks very expensive. If it doesn't work, then prices will probably be the reason, because I think the food outlet list looks good, place looks good, and position is pretty much perfect.

I can't really compare now as I've lived in Asia for a year, and 'streetfood' is so cheap and everyone goes out every night to eat it. This looks like the type of place for a Friday or Saturday out, or birthday party type prices.

This one caught my eye. I want to hear from someone who tries this. I went for a visa renew trip a few months back and went to a 'real' genuine Sichuan hot soup... I only managed about one third of it, and my whole mouth and lips and throat for the next 3 or 4 hours felt like I'd been to the dentist for a tooth out. :hihi:
