Who told you that ?

It's been written about on the politics pages of respected newspapers.

Initially, they clashed, but began to develop a much better working relationship.

A billionaire who gave the Conservatives £500,000 before the last general election has told the BBC he will vote Labour for the first time in his life next month.

John Caudwell, the founder of Phones 4U, described Rishi Sunak as an “absolute dud” and said the Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer “just really hits the spot with a lot of issues with me”.

The businessman has been critical of Labour’s plan to charge VAT on private school fees and has said some of Reform UK's policies "sound sensible", although he ruled out backing Nigel Farage's party over its stance on climate change among other things.

He stopped short of saying he would donate money to Labour at this election.

But he added: “The Labour Party in my estimation, as much as I disagree with some of the policies, are absolutely the very best for Britain going forward.

“What I see is a Labour Party committed to GDP growth and the environment.

"Without GDP growth you can’t look after your social services. And without focusing on the environment there won’t be a world to look after.”

Wing Commander!  You sound like a flippin Kamikaze Pilot with that silly  post.  :loopy:

You guys have short memories.  Starmer campaigned for Corbyn to be prime minister in both 2017 and 2019.  Corbyn would have removed our nuclear weapons if he had won one of those elections.  Anybody who supported  Corbyn to become prime minister in 2017 and 2019 can't be trusted to  themself become prime minister in 2024.  A  leopard  can't change its spots.  If Starmer and the Labour party win the election then our country will be going to hell in a handcart.

I'm not happy about engaging with such an uncouth vulgar person such as yourself.  But here goes.  Which Boris Johnson policies  from the 2019 election campaign has Sunak rejected since he took over leadership?

Labour Government  ( Blair) upgraded trident.

Under Corbyns leadership 60 plus percent of the party vote to replace the nuclear subs with the new dreadnought class.

Think vote was something like 120_470 in Parliament
