Why would you assume that? In exactly which world do you believe that you are in a position for calling me irrational because of my views and you think thats acceptable??

The world of the left.

It's in their DNA, they can't help it.  Tolerance and understanding of other people's views is something they haven't yet managed to master. Education maybe, fascism maybe or just silly billies.

Cyclunt hasn’t got any views, he’s just another mediocre wind-up merchant who doesn’t even know where he lives.

We really need an “irony” emoticon.

You were being ironic, weren’t you Al?

God help us if Rachel Reeves becomes Chancellor of the Exchequer.  She failed to explain how Labour will create growth which is their plan to avoid tax increases.  Long pauses when asked to explain which made the interviewer think she couldn't hear the question.  Poor.

How do you think growth can happen, will the Tories make growth, even tho they have failed in the past?

It's amazing that someone who lived through that time has no understanding of manufacturing, and why it was already failed. Cheap labour abroad was becoming then, and has been since the reason why we don't manufacture things then and now.

Almost everything in the shops is made by cheaper labour than Britain could ever do again. And when it comes to things like cars, we can't make them as good, even if we had cheap labour.

She sold off our Utilities. All are now in foreign hands for them to do what they will. We should have at least kept making the basics necessary for survival.

We are very good at inventing / discovering stuff, but fail to back it up with funding for development, so again it goes into foreign hands for them to make a mint.

Germany seems to manage to manufacture things like their own cars, but we no longer have our own car brands and make profits for Nissan instead.

We no longer produce coal, so we import it from other countries instead (Netherlands I believe) at twice the price.

We import more food than we grow, but pay farmers NOT to grow food.

Sheffield Forgemasters implored the government for grants / loans so they could manufacture nuclear reactor parts. The overnment refused, and now we have had to rely on the Chinese to supply them which is now considered a threat and an opportunity for espionage.

That went well didn't it....

The Tories: know the price of everything but the value of nothing.

Sheffield Forgemasters is owned by the MOD. It was bought for strategic purposes.

I don't know how Labour think they can make growth happen.  I was kind of hoping Rachel Reeves would know how she thinks Labour will make growth happen.  Unlike Rachel Reeves I've no ambition to be the next Chancellor of the Exchequer but I have the same clue as her of how Labour will make growth happen. The Tories have made growth happen but according to Rachel Reeves more growth would have happened if Labour had been in power for the last 14 years.  Because Rachel Reeves doesn't know how Labour will make growth happen it makes sense to stick with the devil you know and vote Tory.
