I have just had a discussion about people spoiling their ballot paper.

He thinks it's worthwhile, I think it's just nonsense. Surely only cranks spoil their ballot paper?

Low turnout does get discussed and there are studies about it, but spoiling your ballot paper is pointless

If you are the Queens maid, then you know the answer, most likely.

But would the Queens maid or hat supplier be morally wrong to place a bet?

It is gambling itself that is the problem.

Something like that happened a few years back because they suspended betting on the colour of the Queen's hat after someone tried to place a £1000 bet.

It's not gambling they know the outcome its avarice and greed glad they all losing their jobs parasites feeding off their own kind.....

Only small sums of money have been betted on the date of the election. It would be greed if someone tried to bet thousands on the election date and then the bet would have been refused acceptance because bookmakers aren't stupid.

Where is the boundary?

What is a reasonable bet using insider knowledge?

How much constitutes greed?

Is your moral compass behind the sofa, or is it under the fridge?

And what if 'HUNDREDS' of people in the same party are being investigated for lots of moderately greedy bets?
