From the linked article:

Mr Craig is the founder and chief executive of marketing and PR agency PLMR, with the company's website describing him as "an expert in political communications, crisis management, and corporate communications".

Oh yes, a real genius in the arena of political communications; so much so that after his actions, the Labour Party have had to suspend him. What an idiot.

An overreaction to suspend him.  Any winnings are going to be donated to charity.  Starmer just trying to be whiter than white.  Starmer is not fooling bona fide people.  The whole betting saga has been a distraction in the election campaign.

Proper leadership from Starmer.

A stark difference between his decisiveness and the weakness of Sunak.

Interview here with the excellent Kathleen Stock about why she's still voting Labour despite Starmer's essential spineless floppery on women's rights, the false and lazy 'both sides' trope, and the appalling treatment of Rosie Duffield, not only by activists and trolls (one of whom was jailed earlier this month for making death threats) but by members of her own party.  Starmer not only failed to support Duffield, but failed to censure where he had the power and expectation to do so.

Worth six minutes of your time.  Listen to the end for commentary on the audacity of a prominent, privileged white man using his position and public soapbox to tell a black woman to shut up and how it would be preferable she didn't exist; something that - no matter what you think about the woman in question and the man's words - would certainly have had him filleted by the very people applauding him in any other context.

After 14 years of Conservatives we need change

Thats why I am voting Labour, or maybe even the greens

The cost of running a car has gone through the roof in the last 14 years as has the cost of everyday items like food and heating

So change needed

I heard that interview on Times Radio this morning and yes, agree it's definitely worth a listen.

Trouble is costs may not go up so fast, but they will not go down either.

So if you couldn't afford it before the election, you still won't be able to afford it after.
