Possibly. She could have sent a cardboard cut out with a copy of the Labour manifesto and it would have probably been just as responsive and locally focused.

 and got a round of applause.

Proper leadership from Starmer.

A stark difference between his decisiveness and the weakness of Sunak.

Poor leadership from Starmer.  A good leader defends their troops when going into battle and doesn't throw them under the bus. If Starmer was a good leader he would have defended the chap and argued he did nothing wrong because he has not had inside knowledge either about the date of the election or the result of the election.  Worry times his poor leadership skills have been exposed with him being the favourite to be the prime minister on July 5th.  I fear the worse for our country.

Yeah, only said after he was cau.ght

What has he been caught doing?  It's not illegal to gamble.   Candidates to become MPs  are not banned from betting on political outcomes unlike professional  footballers who are banned from betting on football matches.

Please provide examples of Sunak defending the Tories accused of gambling on the election (hint: he's said he's "incredibly angry" at them).

If a someone is a liability to their own side, a good leader would not let them near the battlefield.

It's Sunak who's showing weak leadership. He has neither defended them nor removed them from a position where they can harm the party's election campaign.

Sunny, I don't need to provide any examples of Sunak's strong leadership because I haven't stated he's a strong leader.  Sunak would have had more credibility if he had stuck to his guns and not suspended Tory candidates accused of betting with inside knowledge.   Both Sunak and Starmer have proved they are weak leaders.  The difference between Sunak and Starmer is that Sunak is a less snake in the grass than Starmer.

Just viewed Lib Dems' TV broadcast.

Davey presented as genuine, caring and in touch with people!

His party will not be elected as Government, but they will contribute to the Tory twisters being destroyed.
