We need more 'ordinary' people who have experienced life at the sharp end, to become MPs as they add balance to what is a pretty elite club.

Love her or hate her, Angela Rayner probably knows more about life and hard knocks than most, and will be a useful and informed person to have in the cabinet.

What on earth did multi-millionaire Rishi Sunak have in common with the ordinary people? How could he understand the devastation that bad luck, hardship and debt brings into people's lives?

Thanks Anna B , exactly what I was trying to say, me and my family

have been at the school of hard knocks and for a deputy prime minister to have done a job that I’ve done is pretty amazing and I take

my hat off to her for getting where she is today, , because no one in this country wants to care for the elderly, because the pay is rubbish that’s why they rely on immigrants

I wonder if Keirs dad made tools that build cabinets 🤔

Wouldn't it be ironic if he did.

As I thought.

A random YouTube video that doesn't mention Rishi, Keir and is only talking about American politics.

S**t stirring again

Sometimes a little S....S..... is necessary to point out inequities.

And, it's universal. The You don't need to look far. The folks behind the kitchen doors of your fancy restaurants, on the night shifts, cleaning your hotel rooms, and making your beds and wielding mops in the toilets, and corridors of your hospitals, and picking your strawberries are hardly representative of the U.K. population at large.

The next time you are dining in the latest chic restaurant, discussing the merits of the wine and food, just contemplate who's labour is responsible for providing this feast fit for a king, and raise a glass to them.

They are just the latest version of the colonial "subjects" who were hired to pamper their "betters".

"We pay them well, and they seem happy enough!, bring us another bottle of the '85, thank you Manuel". Manuel sighs, because it's 1am and he was hoping to close up and go home, and let his staff go too.
