Round my way they did some work on this road earlier this year.  It was shut for 2 months while they took out the mini roundabout and put in traffic lights.

 

But they DIDN'T do any work on the pedestrian islands at the same time.

 

So its been shut AGAIN from June until August while they rebuild the pedestrian islands and fit block paving.  Dowhigh are the company doing it, they only have 4 workers on site and they only work 9-4, with an hour for lunch.

Co-operating with the French  so asylum seekers can be assessed in France is likely a good start.
