Not quite....

I think it's been a baptism of fire, but the country seem to appreciate government ministers just working diligently and not behaving like the last lot did.

I'm prepared to give him a chance. But I wasn't impressed by his sheepish behaviour when Rachel Reeves was hugely exaggerating the negative economic situation this week in the House of Commons.
