If only the Tories had spent a fraction of the money wasted in Rwanda on things that might have had any actual impact on the gangs themselves, targetting them and their finances, rather than the people they're exploiting. 🙄

The Conservatives have had 14 years of looking after themselves instead of looking after our own.

Of course not... they want people to make money so they can take it of them and give it to others. The communist paradox...

True communism won't work because there'll always be those who don't want to work, but the doctrines of the left around inclusivity means that we can't force them to work because it's not their fault, so everyone else has to work harder so there's more to spread around. It's basically what happens in Animal Farm. Communism is almost on a par with religion for the amount of death and destruction brought on the world.

Why are you talking about Communism?

The Labour Party aren't even Socialist, nor have any pretence to being.

Both the Rwandan and French governments have taken the UK taxpayer for a ride regarding the huge amount of money they have received for doing nothing. Which individuals agreed to these huge sums of money?  It's not these individuals own money which is why such outrageous high amounts of money are agreed to be paid. The buck stops with the Conservative government for allowing such high sums of money to be paid.  The bigger scandal is that after all the money was agreed to be paid to Rwanda and all the Parliament time it took to make the plan legal Rishi Sunak called a general election before any flights were allowed to take place knowing the new Labour government would abort the Rwanda plan.  Rishi Sunak had no conviction otherwise  he wouldn't have called an early general election.

Talk is cheap .

Talk also changes.  Before the general election the Labour talk was all about growing the economy which would prevent tax increases for normal working people. Since the general election all the Labour government talk has been  all about how things are much worse than what they had expected. The new Labour government don't talk about how they inherited the fastest growing economy for the first six months of the year for any G7 economy. The new Labour government are now talking about how bad the upcoming budget will be for everyone.

Probably because things are worse than expected to the tune of £22billion.

A bit rich of you not to mention the public debt Labour also inherited from the Tories. In 2010, the Tories never shut up about there being no money left: in 2010 public debt was 64.7% of GDP.  Now it's up to to 96.5% of GDP, but Tories never mention that. Probably because it doesn't involve a note written by Liam Byrne

And in 2010 the level of public satisfaction with the NHS was the highest it's ever been. Now? I think we know the answer.

The £22 billion includes expenditure choices the incoming Labour government has made.  The Labour government chose to to give big pay rises to junior doctors and train drivers.  The £22 billion figure is disputed and is not a fact.

Pay rises recommended by the independent pay review bodies.
