The single biggest difference between the independent and state education sectors is the pupil: teacher ratio. Improving that in state schools is key to driving improvements.

 

All of those whinging about the government taxing school fees correctly should remember that most people don’t use independent schools. Those that do should pay for them properly.

By the sounds of it....A first degree usually takes 3 years, then a post graduate certificate in education takes another year I believe......Do you want the teachers to be qualified or not?
