Starmer's offer to meet Harris was declined by Team Harris.  Make of that what you will.

Maybe because he's unpopular at this moment in type,  or she doesn't want his input.

Optics.  The Republicans keep referring to Democrats as Left Wing despite the fact that by our standards they aren't.

Not providing photo ops with a supposed Left Wing PM makes sense. Also Harris is busy trying to gain support for the first female presidency in US history.

Trump has met with Starmer and says he's a nice man and very popular. As I posted back on page 512 that begs the question of the Trump supporters on here, do they agree?

They seem very eager to accept Donald's say so as a general rule so how about that opinion of his?

She was busy in Washington while Sir Keir Starmer was busy in New York.  It was more important for Sir Keir Starmer to meet Donald Trump because they have never met before.

I have a bridge to sell you! 😆

To be fair to you and Starmer though, Team Harris are keeping VP Harris away from just about everybody. They must be absolutely terrified that she says something unexpectedly important and it gets reported!

Writing in the Mail this weekend, Johnson has backtracked and in his column says he made a "catastrophic mistake" by saying sorry for his partying while Britain was in lockdown.

Previously Johnson was found to have boasted on WhatsApp that he would "get through" partygate and "come out on top".

Shameless Boris Johnson says he made 'catastrophic' mistake by apologising for partygate - Mirror Online (archive.is)

I'm aware Starmer hasn't done himself any favours by accepting gifts from Waheed Ali, but the treatment of that has become as fevered as the party gate treatment for Johnson. And those who criticise Starmer for alleged 'hypocrisy' should look at how Johnson criticised other people's lack of morality and uprightness before he was PM.

HA HA HA - Boris Johnson dragged the saga up again by writing in the Mail This Weekend. So Yes - "look over there"

And what did the Mail Telegraph Express Tories on here do when they accused Starmer of the same as Johnson in breaking the rules they said "look over there at a curry in Durham".

As I acknowledged Starmer hasn't done himself any favours, but he hasn't broken the law - Like Johnson did - so what Johnson and his underlings did was far worse.

It gets better. Johnson actually considered invading Holland to obtain ( steal ) Covid vaccine!

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/boris-johnson-astrazeneca-dutch-europe-netherlands-b1184711.html

" The pandemic is terrible, what should we do Prime Minister "?

" Let's start a war, that'll take peoples minds off it. "

The writers of 'Yes Prime Minister' wouldn't have even considered that as a plot because it's totally ridiculous.

Also, our record in war against Holland isn't completely triumphant.

We had a set of total buffoons leading the country and I don't think Starmer is going to be the messiah, in fact it's looking like he's a naughty boy.
