Labour supporters while Tory MPs were jumping ship to Labour and there were no by-elections - silence

Labour supporters on Rosie Duffield today - calls of "RESIGN", "BY-ELECTION" and no end of abuse and hostility.

To make that accusation stick you'd need to find the same Labour person demanding Rosie Duffield has a by election as they did for Natalie Elphick and Christian Wakefield.

I think Labour would lose a by-election in Canterbury if Rosie Duffield stood as an independent candidate.

Exactly.  Nobody demanded a by-election for Natalie Elphick and Christian Wakefield when the jumped ship. They just rubbed their hands in glee at the Tories losing another seat.

But now the left all want Duffield to submit to one.  Double standards and hypocrisy from the left again.

But keep trying to defend and deflect, it really is hilarious to see you and PrettyTom desperately trying!

Its a tricky one.  I think the vote could be split several ways - Tory or Reform and Rosie.

Either Labour, I bet it would be a loss for Labour.

What about the hypocrisy of those who complain about Labour, but were dumb struck into silence by the Tories between 2010 - 2024?

I don't suppose that warrants a mention.

By the way - I will criticise the Labour Government when they break the rules and break the law, etc. I won't stay silent like you did between 2010 and 2024

But those who cried "waaah Labour debt of £1.21 trillion in 2010" and that stupid note- Yet said nothing when the Tories left the country owing £2.77 trillion of debt in 2024 are just pathetic and can't even see their own hypocrisy. So still that in your pipe!

You seem really spiky recently, is all the Labour shenanigans and hypocrisy getting you down, did you actually believe they were for the many?

I totally understand it must be such a let down.

It's more the differences in how Labour and the Tories are treated. As the former PM Clement Attlee said:

"A Tory minister can sleep in ten different women's beds in a week. A Labour minister gets it in the neck if he looks at his neighbour's wife over the garden fence".

Yep, more than once recently those two have attacked the poster rather than the post.

I can't understand why someone would defend any government to the level of  obsession unless you work for them or are a party member.

Personally I'm really p*ssed - not that all Labour's promises have come to nothing, but the way some zealots have lashed out with the most pathetic excuses they could find, particularly the whataboutery. They'd throw that word in our faces whenever we compared something the Tories were doing  being something Labour had done while they were in power.

Gaslighting, pure and simple.  Live in your little echo chambers if you like.

Seeing Starmerites calling Rosie Duffield a freeloader, a grifter and loads more worse names today is pretty pathetic.
