If opinion polls were so accurate England would have won the World Cup more time than Brazil and Germany put together.

Hey Axe,

Why do you think ministers at the Home Office are asking civil servants to simplify problems with Rishi Sunak's Rwanda bill so they can make sense of it?

The next Jessie Bond more like.  Enough said.

Starmer would be more fitting to play James Bond and  with the hair style Boris has,  he would be more fitting to play Blofelds Cat.  Angela Rayner would make the perfect Bond Girl.

Starmer would suit the role as Hilda in Rumpole of the Bailey and there numerous roles that Angela Rayner could play in Prisoner Cell Block H.

I see a certain Tory supporter on here saying that "some people have short memories." My own two penneth for what it's worth.. I remember that during lockdown my niece had a stillborn baby. She wasn't allowed to have her husband or her mum with her in hospital, her sister wasn't allowed to hug her, friends weren't allowed to visit her and only a handful of people were allowed at the funeral. While she was obediently obeying the rules, that shower down in London were smuggling suitcases of booze into Downing St for illegal parties. I also remember that my cousins daughter had to risk her life working at a hospital because they didn't have proper PPE.  While taxpayers money had been wasted buying containers full of insufficient quality stuff which later had to be stored and destroyed at great expense. Still Lady Mone got a nice yacht out of it. I could go on....

So you fantasise that a man takes a woman's role in a legal drama, and make reference to a camp classic TV series from the early 1980s famous for wobbly walls, lesbian intrigue and denim skirts.

Perhaps that oft expressed homophobia of yours hides a dark secret....

Speaking of film roles ideal for politicians - Boris Johnson would be great as either Billy Liar or the Jim Carey character in Dumb and Dumber

The civil servants in Downing Street did flaunt the covid rules.  Condolences to your niece.

Your vocation in Film or TV wouldn't be in the casting department, your way off.  When you see Starmer and Raynor spring into action after winning the next GE,  Superman and Wonder Woman will spring to mind. :hihi:
