The reason why he left the D-Day commemorations early was to do a political interview with ITV's Paul Brand.

In that interview Sunak says he absolutely understands the struggle people are having....When he was growing up, his family didn't have Sky TV.....

I just love the world in which he lives, "where hard work always = money despite creating an economy where you can break your back working 3 jobs and still need a food bank." (Thanks to Sarah from Twitter) :)

 

 

 

Sunak intended to leave the D-Day commemorations early before he announced the date of the election.  He never had any intention of staying for the full commemorations.

Yes, it's been widely reported. And that makes the mistake all the more glaring. 

I mean it was for a TV interview which could've been re-scheduled....

It wasn't a mistake. It was a neglect of duty.  A mistake is putting salt in a cup of tea instead of sugar.

So Labour Mp Louise Haigh who lives in Labour run Sheffield says Labour will fix millions of potholes . Is she blind . If they can't sort Sheffield between them ,what chance does the rest of the Country have  ?
