Re: The Philippines warning China off & putting a red line down on them advancing in the South China Sea.

Of course, the US still has a number of bases in the Philippines.  If anything is going to kick off approaching WWIII, it'll be down to the ambitions of the Chinese & the US being dragged into it, then the rest of us.

Putin & Europe / NATO.   With the exception of some last ditch attempt by Putin launching a pre-emptive strike on somewhere in mainland Europe, Russia would be obliterated by the West / NATO.

China's military forces number 2,035,000 and they have a further 510,000 reserves. Only the US has more military power. Find a way to neutralise American involvement and China and Russia who have become Big Buddies  ( " Not allies, but better than allies " was how they put it ) will have free rein.

I would have less concern about possible international conflict if either or both of those countries were controlled by people who gave any consideration whatsoever to the welfare and lives of their people. But as they regard their fellow citizens as no more than useful assets to be exploited as they see fit for their own megalomaniac purposes I'm not totally sure about how it's going to turn out.

To be fair, the same is true of Trump.

Why has farage been the star of the first week of the election campaign?

Perhaps the media should insist they will only include those standing for the election will be allowed to comment on their parties' respective positions. After all, it will be help the electorate to make informed decisions about who to vote for if they see the candidates themselves.

Although I can understand the reticence of someone like Nigel Farage who has been rejected by the electorate for the national parliament 7 times putting himself forward; I absolutely agree with your sentiments.

There's no doubt about it, our country has the best politicians money can buy.

And if Jonathan Gullis is the best that money can buy, we're well and truly ****ed! 🤣

He is a nutter and so are his supporters, we saw that with the attack on the whitehouse he is a wrong un, he is corrupt, and a  flippin criminal and a racist.

No one attacked the White House.

His supporters number into the millions so don't stereotype them all just because a mob of a few hundred idiots lost the plot.

It might have been better to correct PRESLEY confusing the White House for the Capitol Building than imply they didn't attack anything.

The majority of his supporters think the last election was stolen from him - even after all the investigations/court cases/etc. It's reasonable to call them nutters in the circumstances.
