Sir Kier speaking from the heart about national security.

Why the roll eyes?

Would you have included them if Sunak had been speaking about national security?

it would help us all if you were a bit clearer.

Did you like his speech? If so, tell us why.

If you think that the disintegrating Tory party would do better, tell us about that. Maybe have a look at defence spending under these chumps to back your case up.

Victoria Atkins – married to Paul Kenward, the managing director of British Sugar.

She was doing the rounds at the weekend, and in the interviews I heard, not answering the questions put to her but just talking over the interviewers at a rate of knots with a pre-learned script. The interviewers couldn't get a word in edgeways.

There’s no substance to any of them HB. There’s a parade of second rate Tories who know that their record isn’t good enough, so they just repeat nonsense to try to get on Twitter.

Meawhile, Labour are so far ahead that they are just being totally bland and unadventurous, so that they don’t rock the boat.

Viva la revolution.

Steve Barclay, the Environment Secretary is married to the executive of Anglian Water, one of the UK water companies perceived to be responsible for widespread and prolonged environmental damage.

Should make for interesting conversations at the dinner table....
