So you’re voting for Reform next Thursday as an act of self harm?

You see voting as self harm I see it as an act of civic involvement

I don’t see it as self harm, I was quoting what you said in reply to Prettytom’s post.

I hope you have decent private health insurance and no mortgage.

Otherwise, a vote for Reform is an act of self harm.

Farage claims canvasser's racist comments a 'set-up'

This is very Trumpian.

It reminds me of Alex Jones falsely claiming that the 2012 school shooting in Sandy Hook was a hoax.

I love this idea of Farage's that

"In most cases they’re just speaking like ordinary folk. They’re not part of the mainstream political Oxbridge speak".

As if most "ordinary folk" use the vile language about others that his party worker does, and anyone who doesn't is part of the metropolitan elite.

He's being willfully ignorant. He knows damned well there are scummy bigots in society, but to try and normalise their language, and make those who are not bigoted as somehow the elite, is typical divide and rule.

Farage is a nasty, pus filled boil on the backside of the UK which needs lancing.

To become an immigrant?

I'll be a legal immigrant. I've just thought of a downside to Brexit and that is it's harder for Brits to emigrate to Europe now in the event of a Starmer led Labour government.

So you've finally figured out that restricting freedom of movement has a double edge.

Most people worked that out years ago.

But well done you - here have a dancing banana

Good heavens No, he's British don't you know, he'd be an Ex Pat. Only foreigners are immigrants. My mother came over to Sheffield from Ireland, she was an immigrant. Years later after I was in my teens we moved to Ireland, my dad then became an ex pat. Not sure what that made me, as I had dual nationality as a birth-right, 🤔.

Anyway, he's a Wing Commander, he'll be in his club drinking pink gin. You can't refer to a chap like that as an immigrant!
