Could you actually point to a statement he made where he said he didn't want Diane Abbott to stand?

If you could also highlight where Angela Rayner "forced" him to make todays statement, then we could all agree with you.

You believe what you want to believe.  Mr Starmer hasn't got his own way and Angela Rayner has had a good week.

What do you mean take control? The Labour Party is a left wing party isn't it?

Partys change, the Liberals used to be to the left of Labour, but Labour have always been to the left of the Conservatives, except when Boris Johnson was the Prime Minister. He didn't believe in a small Government, he spent all our money and money we didnt have.

If that is a genuine question and not just a wind up then it would appear that you haven't been paying attention to what has been happening.

Trump is an America First isolationist. If he returns to the White House he will cut off aid to Ukraine and withdraw troops from Europe, which will encourage his friend - the other megalomaniac -  Putin who Trump gives private audiences to and has referred to as a genius.

If America withdraws from international affairs it will encourage Russia and China to increase their already significant interference.

If you don't think that will cause problems for the rest of us then you are incorrect.

Did Putin invade Ukraine when Trump was President ?

Give over , it was obvious he didn't want her back and Rayner did back him into a corner with her comments .

Apparently the Tories are nearly 200 candidates short to field in all areas for the election

'Dead Ringers' on BBC Radio 4 this evening had a funny take on this.
