So, if there's a war when a particular person is in power it's entirely their fault is it?  Which would mean that Thatcher was responsible for the Falklands wouldn't it?

 

And, if not going to war means great credit to the person in power it would mean that Harold Wilson keeping the UK out of Vietnam was one of our greatest Prime Ministers?

I was replying to a poster who said if he was in power he would start WW3 .

Let’s get back to this country’s mess ,conscription  The trade I was in for many many years .ie building trade most I worked  and  knocked around with  all had done national service  None wanted do it  when you are 18 you are just discovering having a good time , they. did not want to be shouted at by a. Sargent . Many went down pit instead of service ,  does he really think millions are  going to come running to do this  Point 2  Road works .Were I live a complete mess plastic barriers all over pavement s for months  , holes dug then left . All private contractors  share holders making. money.  Contractors getting paid for how long job  ssm

If he does isolate America and withdraws from international peace keeping it would allow Russia and China to do as they please. That would then create a situation which may well develop into WW3.

Sorry got cut off  contractors getting paid for how long job takes ,or should  I say how long holes are not filled in  Pavments supposed to be re tarmac ed    No digging down just very very thin layers  I think they put it on with a butter knife   On the estate near me they have started to do it right . In a nut shell this government trying to privatise every thing   Get Shut Off Them  Now

Joint star of the first week.  Mr Farage made an appearance on Question Time alongside Mr Morgan.  The exchanges between Mr Farage and Mr Morgan were top notch.  Mr Farage has been everywhere this week talking in a reasonable informative calm way.
