Slighty batty Posted May 24 Share Posted May 24 Diane, if you look on picturesheffield.com they have a couple of photos from the 1920's showing a shop at the junction of Penistone Road and Wood St. That would have been the tobacconists at numbers 295-297 and this will give you a general idea of what the area was like at that time.
