Sheffield’s culinary landscape is about to get a significant upgrade with the opening of Governor Gupta, the rooftop restaurant at the new Radisson Blu on Pinstone Street.

Restaurant Details

Governor Gupta is Sheffield’s first Indian social club-inspired restaurant, drawing from North Indian "Addas" – traditional meeting spots known for their vibrant atmosphere and flavorful food. The menu promises distinctive Indian flavors, featuring prime cuts of meat, Tandoor-smoked dishes, and fresh naans.

The ‘Roulette’ Tasting Menu

For those looking to add an element of surprise to their dining experience, Governor Gupta offers a seven-course ‘Roulette’ tasting menu. Each course, curated by the Governor, ranges from spicy to sweet, providing a unique and varied culinary journey.

Governor Gupta Bar

The accompanying Governor Gupta Bar will offer a prohibition-style ambiance with cocktails disguised as board game rule books. Guests can enjoy their drinks while taking in views of Sheffield from the exclusive rooftop terrace.

No opening date as yet,  ut bookings for the hotel are currently being taken from 1st July.

Sounds interesting...look forward to giving it a try. Not bothered about cocktails, but the food bit sounds good. Hope they can have a couple of decent craft beers on too, location and view whilst enjoying a pint or three should be good.
