He might as well plan to colonise Mars for all the good it'll do him. Concentrate on trying to piece the Tory party back together first, not pie in the sky ideas. Kemi Badenoch was correct in saying maternity pay is a burden for employers. Kemi Badenoch's big mistake is backtracking rather than not defending her original comment. Robert Jenerick has stuck to his guns regarding his comment about the ECHR being responsible for terrorists being taken out by the SAS rather than being captured. If politicians stand by their beliefs then they are more credible than politicians who quickly backtrack after being challenged. Backed Theresa May. Generally a moderate. Then he spots an opening and turns into a far right lunatic. At least Badenoch has always been an extremist. Jenrick is just an opportunist. Neither of them will be any good for the Tory Party. They need a properly moderate leader. Read more about Robert Generic here

Jenrick campaigned to remain in the EU. In the referendum, he voted to remain. He subsequently backed Theresa May’s deal. Then the was radicalised by Suella Braverman . He’s a poor example to choose when talking of people sticking to their principles.
