I've never been a beer drinker but I once went in a pub and they had an ale called "A good shag".

The Barmaid was a stunner and I couldn't resist asking he if I could have a good shag.

True story.

Sounds like a pub I know...

                                                             Iinda Lykes.

                                                            The Cockwell Inn,

                                                            Er-Bum,

                                                            Tillet,

                                                            Herts.

It's near Louth.

It's called the  "Splash".

In the Milton in Elsecar. Having a Blue Moon. We call it our New York beer because the first one the beloved and I ever had was in a bar in Times Square.

Gotta love the owners of The Milton. Some fantastic posters up. Can't get any good photos because of the lighting. Shame.

Currently on holiday in Kent. Enjoying a brew in The Royal Albion (overlooking the sea at Broadstairs).

"Shepherd Neame's Go For Gold is a limited edition, 3.4% ABV golden ale that was released in 2024 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Lieutenant General Sir Philip Neame's Olympic gold medal win in 1924. Neame, who was born in Faversham, is the only person to have ever won both the Victoria Cross in World War I and an Olympic gold medal. Go For Gold is a Cask Club beer that's made with a blend of Caragold malt and oats, giving it a full-bodied, silky mouthfeel."

Worth drinking for its history alone.
