The Wig & Pen to reopen soon as ‘The Beaten Track’

Recommended Posts

A long-closed Sheffield city centre pub is set to reopen as a coffee house and cocktail bar.

The Wig & Pen pub on Campo Lane, which shut down during the Covid pandemic over three years ago, is undergoing a transformation and will soon be known as The Beaten Track.

The new venue, located behind Sheffield Cathedral, is expected to open in late July or early August.

Christopher Harris, an experienced mixologist who has previously worked at Browns and Ego Mediterranean, is spearheading the project and is currently recruiting staff for the opening.

Harris shared with The Star that The Beaten Track will offer a mix of signature and classic cocktails, such as Berry & Cucumber Daiquiris, Hot Honey Margaritas, and Turkish Delight. The bar aims to provide a unique experience combining high-quality coffee and expertly crafted cocktails.

We went there today - excellent range of beers and a very friendly atmosphere.

good to see it open and looks nice.

what was the beer range? Looking at the photos on Facebook it seems to be mostly Heineken products.
