There seems to be quite a few doom and gloom threads about recently.

Let's see if we can change that a bit.

What have you got to be happy about ?.

Me.

1/ I woke up this morning.

2/ I'm taking 4 generations of my family to lunch.

3/ the Sun is trying to shine.

It looks like being a happy day.

 

I hope you all have something to keep you smiling all day.

Remember it's just as easy to smile than it is to frown.

Don't let the misery guts drag you down with them.

Ha. I’m even happier than any of you since there’s no chance whatsoever of me even speaking to my relatives, never mind troughing with them.

I’m in Blackpool, the rain has stopped the wind has dropped from gale force to just storm force 9 so it’s time to go celebrate with a knickerbocker glory at Notariannis.🍨🍦.

I’ve got a couple of days off work and I seem to emulate my late father these days as I get older. I’ll be off to the local potting shed for a couple of jars at lunchtime to study the racing cards and have a small flutter.
