Look on the bright side of life.

Used to love Twicker mag. Almost a prptotype for Viz...

Also Rag parade, Boat Race, and Pyjama  Jump, and other jolly occasions.

Also Lord Mayors Parade with all the many business floats, Christmas lights, The big Sheffield Show, Fright Night, Bonfire nights in the big local parks, and cheap buses.

Sheffield was a jolly place with a lot of community spirit.

Do you think we'll ever get back to that?

A jolly good morning to all you happy Lads and Lasses.

Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.

So you mean sober?

24 degrees in sunny Sale, looking out of my bay window my view is a leafy oak tree,  a white clad house opposite,  our own hedge and flowers on the windowsill.

Often, older people think that the old days were the good old days, but that is not the case. Think about all of the ailments that people used to suffer from 50+ years ago.

We need to look on the bright side of life.

Old days, new days life is what you make it.

Never be a prisoner of your past.

It was just a lesson not a life sentence.
