Janus
I generally don't mind the fees, but it seems their fee system is a bit conveluted. I did think it could be a good alternative to flee bay, but there seems to be a bit ofmakarjey going on. Not sure my ageing brain can cope with such things but I still try. Pyrotequila
I've never used it, but reading the link you posted... You're charged $15 to set up your selling profile $0.20 per item you list, regardless of whether it sells If it doesn't sell, it will automatically renew after 4 months, and you'll be charged another $0.20 When you do sell something, you'll be charged 6.5% of the sale price So yeah.... a lot of fees, even if you sell nothing. 2

SheffieldForum
Sold lots through Etsy over the years, and yes — the fees are convoluted and confusing. So much so that several websites have ‘Etsy Calculators’ to work out costs/charges, i.e: https://craftybase.com/etsy/fee-calculator Things like offsite ad fees add on too — which can wipe out a chunk of profit, so bare that in mind. They are quite strict on what you can sell on there too, and the community are BIG gatekeepers. As a platform it is hard to get seen — sellers on there have to be SEO experts to get their listings into a decent position on the search there, and there’s a LOT of sellers who are selling poor quality goods at ridiculously cheap prices which you have to compete with.
