Do you make phone calls on speakerphone on public transport or listen to music without headphones?

If so, may I ask WTF  is wrong with you? Why would you do this, instead of keeping your conversation or music or YouTube video to yourself, on the basis that no-one else has any interest in hearing it?

I don't mind it. If someone wants to listen to a bit of music on the bus or tram then I honestly don't mind. Same with making calls using the speakerphone.

just a little flick on the hand underneath as you walk past pretending to be getting something out of your pocket "allegedly" works well.

Yes, I don't get that holding of the phone horizontally inches in front of the mouth. I always assumed it came from the fear of getting brain cancer that was bandied about in the press shortly after mobile phones first came out. If I think about it, I was probably wrong, the horizontal thing is far more recent than the advent of mobile phones.

I was on a bus and a guy was listening to loud music,  all the little lady pensioners were too scared to object,  I asked him to turn it down, he did then gradually turned it loud again,  so I told the driver and he said 'either turn it down or get off the bus'  he turned it down & then called his friend  and

moaned to him about me.

After I'd done my shopping in Lymm I was at the bus stop waiting to go home & he offered me a lift - you can guess what my answer was!

@cressida - if he was on a bus, how could he offer you a lift, or am I missing something?
