Yes.  At the moment it's effectively a stalemate between Russia and Ukraine as a consequence of the military aid being given to Ukraine.  Putin doesn't care about hundreds of thousands of Russian troops being killed and will continue using more Russian troops as cannon fodder for years. The only way out of this mess without Western nations getting involved in the fighting is for peace talks to start.  Trump will initiate these peace talks after he has withdrawn funding for the Ukraine war effort.

If the Southern Counties spoke predominantly German and were happy with a duly elected pro-Germany government before the war started, and saw the U.S. incite a coup to overthrow democracy, , they would have started a war against the revolutionaries from the North?  😀

He's definitely said he would.

 

I wonder if his big donors and supporters have interests in some of the large defence companies that are making money hand over fist from the war.  Could they seek to change his mind?
