m williamson Posted August 27 Share Posted August 27 The Republicans will be desperate to avoid any direct debate between Trump and Harris. She is a former Attorney General of California who was elected twice to the position. She has experience as a prosecutor and she came to national prominence when she questioned Trump administration officials during senate hearings. She is familiar with cross examining dubious characters, it'll be like old times for her. He is an old guy who has taken to rambling about unconnected stuff going on in his own mind. He confused the Republican Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi the Democratic Speaker of the House. Of course when Biden did anything similar it was jumped on by Republicans as signs of his senility, but when Trump talks about fishing boats, batteries and sharks, or disinfectant and light used internally that's ok apparently. The only US President to be impeached twice in the history of the country and a convicted rapist but still backed by members of his cult.
