I believe he has had boxing lessons myself and when he saw his brother in a brawl with the police officer he decided to jump in. I don’t actually agree with how he has behaved and neither do I agree with how the officer who kicked his head has behaved.. The copper who kicked him is a violent thug who is in a position of power. The 19 year old put the officers to shame because he turned the tables on them and schooled them and yes I have heard myself loud and clear. The police were hyped up ready for action and instead of dealing with the matter in a calm way decided to do it on a power trip, that is my opinion.. Why didn’t the 19 year old deal with it in a calm way ? He resisted arrest . Attacked Police .

The very fact you are writing about a violent thug ‘schooling coppers’ is very concerning. And the fact that on at least a couple of occasions you’ve said you think the police were taking an opportunity to ‘rough up’ these men. There’s no evidence for that. Yes, the policeman who kicked the man was wrong but a series of events led to that (and to be clear that’s not excusing the police officer stamping/kicking, it’s a reason and clarifying that this didn’t happen in isolation). It feels like you’re twisting it to suggest the police wanted to beat the man because he is Asian and they were strong, brave, tough men for fighting back. If someone from my cultural background/community commits a crime, I call them out, not make excuses. 5

He should not have jumped in I did boxing for a number of years and only ever once had to sort a bigot out in Sheffield out of the ring !
