I asked my brother about it & he said it's been around for years . I must be walking around with my eyes closed then . Saw it again while coming back from Northern . francypants Posted July 26 Share Posted July 26 When we lived in London my dad had a big American car. He loved it but I hated it. It was a Chevrolet Impala ...... massive thing ! It had bench seats which were sooooo bouncy and of course it was left hand drive. Imagine driving a left hand drive car in London and finding a parking space big enough wasn't easy either. carosio Posted July 26 Share Posted July 26 Back in late 50s/early 60s, a friend's father had a Studerbaker Golden Hawk, he used to park it in the next street on some spare land on the now demolished Normandale Rd S6.
