You're right, this isn't a case of a biological man claiming to be a woman but someone born with female genitalia but with physical characteristics more akin to males giving her an advantage over normal females. It must be a very rare condition and makes it difficult for the authorities.

The boxers are likely born biological males (46 XY) with a DSD, very likely 5-ARD.  We don't know the details because the boxers in question did not appeal against the previous IBA rulings banning them from competition.

The enzyme 5-alpha reductase catalyses the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, a hormone needed for the development of male external genitalia, so baby boys with the condition are often assigned female at birth despite having internal testes.

They go through male puberty which, important in this context, gives them the advantages of strength, power, speed, bone density, size etc that are apparent in the male boxers competing against women.

It isn't a 'trans' issue.  It isn't a socialisation and identity issue.  It's a biology issue.  It's a sports science issue.  It's a fairness, equality and safety issue.

Just wondering Padders the world British tiddlywinks competition is due to start soon. Is anyone from Padders Bar entering the competition?  I know you  have been running a social night tiddlywinks competition just wondering if you have any talented players.

My mind is boggled, I shall keep practicing though, I have complete faith that mind boggling will be an Olympic sport in 2032, I also have plans to best the 51 years of old MacDonald.
