Winter Fuel Allowance payments scrapped for millions of pensioners.

Recommended Posts

So that's why Starmer was reticent about producing impact assessment details about the possible health impact, hospitalisations & deaths during the Winter period due to cutting the pensioners Winter fuel payments.

Starmer / Labour simply didn't bother to carry out any assessments.

Pensions of the UK. Starmer / Labour simply don't care about you!

The Brexit Party(trading as Reform UK in elections) is a bit vague on this is because its majority shareholder -Farage- favours an end the State Pension for all employed people who will rely instead on a personal Fund related to a life time Compulsory levy of  12% collected by employers as well as the private investments they make.

A minimum means tested welfare benefit would apply to non/limited income when they reached a certain age.

Compulsory contribution of 12% of all  pay except O/T, goes into a Fund, the value of which dictates the Pension you take out.

No flat rate stage State Pension.

Means tested benefits would apply to those with  insufficient contributions.

The outside temperature is 10C this morning, so the heating is on.  We will turn it off as and when it warms up, so whet is wrong with that?

That is fine if you are paying for it. My heating is still off.

We have means tests for extra benefits already, so similar, it depends on the amount paid out.

Is 12% of pay enough, NHS etc its 6% from the employee and 16% from the employer.

I tend to agree with this position from reform

     What position?

The Brexit Party(trading as Reform UK in elections) did not mention in its Manifesto or on any of its Policies. As owner of Reform UK, we have to wait for Farage to say something.
