After the Labour Councillor appearing and being remanded

A wife of a Tory Councillors appeared in court and remanded charged with hate offences online.

 

she told people to burn where they live, with them in it for all they care.

That 'lady' shouldn't be a child-minder -obviously she has never grown up.

What's with physical description lines in the report though - they are a total irrelevance.?

I've noticed reporters do that, they give a brief description of the physical appearance of the defendant

no idea, im not a reporter, at a guess would it be similiar to the drawings they used to make of people in court?

I'm not a reporter either, but at the risk of once again taking this off-topic I don't quite see your analogy. The reasons for the drawings of defendants in court is due to the 'no cameras' rule. The defendants in court, theoretically, are fair game - although I disagree with that - but physically describing someone who has merely been charged...?
