Cheers. Full article here

It's taken them a while to catch up if it's the same thing I pointed out last Tuesday

Marc Owen Jones is a good one to follow for some of the specific analysis
https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1818343641930514674.html

Thread on the #Southport anti-migrant and anti-Muslim disinformation and propaganda. In this thread I highlight key spreaders of disinformation, the chronology, and some points about some of the inauthentic activity evident. I will focus on X.

It's quite possible that someone will introduce this incident into this thread if they haven't already
https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1819501170236576058.html

There is another anti-immigrant, racist and unsubstantiated rumour being circulated online about the tragic stabbing of a woman in #Brantham, UK. I just wanted to provide some analysis of the emergence of this rumour, and the protagonists and sequence of the story.

I'll just say this.

The police really are NOT helping matters. Literally ignoring a group carrying weapons and then getting extremely violent with a group of protesters who were just standing and chanting. Different videos taken from different locations but the look is still a poor one.

I'm done watching videos for now.

I've probably said that before but this time I mean it.

Honest

I suspect our admin is having his hands full at the moment trying to keep a handle on some of the stuff being posted at the moment.
I was just looking for one of the comments about people being stabbed/axed in Stoke with reports of various videos, but I'm struggling to locate the post(s).
Re Twitter;
This text accompanied at least two of the videos, reportedly  from Stoke;
BREAKING:  New video shows the group of migrants who seriously wounded 2 anti mass-immigration protesters in Stoke moments ago after attacking them with hammers and axes.

The migrants were walking the streets chanting “Allahu Ahkbar” before the attack. Also seen flipping cars!

Subsequent to that post, the police have issued the following.
 News Update on Stoke-on-Trent disorder  Official Police Statement

Specialist officers and public order resources are continuing to respond to disorder in Stoke-on-Trent.

We acted on information about a planned protest and deployed a number of officers to ensure we could keep people safe.

There is growing speculation that a stabbing has taken place as a result of the disorder today.

We can confirm this information is false and no stabbings have been reported to police, despite videos fuelling speculation on social media.

We can confirm that two men were injured after being hit by a blunt object that was thrown. Their injuries are not thought to be serious and both have been taken to hospital for treatment.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the disorder and are currently in custody for questioning.

A number of protesters have dispersed from the location while a large-scale policing presence with specialist public order resources remain in the area.

A section 34 dispersal notice has also been authorised, allowing police to disperse people who may return to the area.

It's always the same and there's definitely two-tiered policing going on. Look at how the police treat football fans and any group of white people protesting. They are straight in there with batons etc. Yet when it was all kicking off in Harehills they ran away and treat the protestors with kid gloves.

6 coach loads of people from an organisation that Google can't find anything for for the last 5 years going to Liverpool?

Are people thick?

At least the major demo planned for Doncaster passed without major incident; I wonder if he claimed travel expenses, or was self funding. 🙂
I don't normally include masked swearing in posts, but this is a direct quote;

Planned anti-immigration demo in Doncaster passes quietly after only one protester turns up   Doncaster Free Press

He can be seen telling the camera:

“Well, here we are lads, quarter past two, Sir Nigel Gresley Square, there’s me, two coppers who look bored, there’s a van there – they looked bored, you’re all a set of f***ing w***ers, every one of you.

“Eh – where are you?” F***ing a***holes. If I were you boys in future I’d keep your mouth shut.”

The reasons for which were all explained on the Harehills thread.
Alternatively, for anyone who wants to actually learn something, have a read of this article in The Havering Daily, penned by an ex copper who's been giving comprehensive accounts of the various London protests, and other local info down there.
It's a long article, but worth reading all the way through; towards the end he also covers Harehills, though not Southport and subsequent.
It probably warrants a thread of its own before this one gets locked or deleted.
I don't always agree with his viewpoints, but his reporting is excellent.
Two Tier Policing-is it a Myth or Fact?

Today, former Metropolitan Police Officer Chris Hobbs writes in the Havering Daily on the latest finger pointing at our police-two tier policing. Is it just a myth or indeed a fact?

A search on the phrase ‘two-tier,’ policing on most social media sites, will bring about a Tsunami of responses from, primarily, those on the far right of the political spectrum but the issue is also a cause-celebre,’ for those on the hard left.

Regardless of any links you post, I've seen it enough with my own eyes to know it's going on.
