Your Life Over The Years...

I once asked my 94 year old grandad what he regretted most about getting old & he said it was watching his friends die, one by one.

I said 'but  it was you that fed them the poisonous berries'

I've been having friends and acquaintances dying since I was 18

Do you think we notice flaws in people more these days,  my sister is 5.0' and had to wear really high heels.

Not sure about that but I get the impression that people are more aware of their own perceived imperfections these days.

That's sad mel, very sad. 😔

technically it was earlier, a school mate i used to sit next to Paul Smith was the first, got hit in the stomach with a football and died at school. then i may have been 17 when i started hanging round the Peace Gardens with the Punks and one older "punk" legend Deano (a heroin and former Stranglers Roadie) died in police custody. But i didnt really know him, 18s when it started with proper friends and acquaintance's dying regularly
