I once took my young Son to Chesterfield Argos to get a Magnext set. He still remembers it! ❤️

That Transformers stuff was far too late for me. My boyhood toys included Fireball XL5, Stingray, Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds and Supercar. Gerry & Sylvia Anderson were gods to me. The annuals I asked for reflected this.

 

Just spoke to my boy though. He said we got him a couple of Transformer things; a Starscream and an Optimus Prime. I do kind of remember them. I remember the noise he made playing with them more though.
