They produced some good songs and compared to that other Manchester band, The Smiths they are brilliant. In their favour they appreciated the Beatles and that’s good enough for me! crookesey Posted August 27 Share Posted August 27 I do my level best not to let my likes and dislikes influence my appreciation of musicians, sports people, actors, etc. I’m sure that I would like some lesser achievers more than ones that are master’s of their craft because of the way they are portrayed by the media.
