SheffieldForum
Nice first thread! Great to see you jumping in and starting discussions. 👍 Something about me? I once (accidentally!) got David Blunkett stuck in a lift door, before later (accidentally again, honest!) walking him into a door. Oh, and I once thought I was going to die in a small dark tunnel under Sheffield City Centre (it was just a combination of bad asthma, claustrophobia and a mild panic attack). 2 1 Sheffield Forum | The Sheffield Guide | The Sheffield Shop

peak4
Me, in my late 68's retired away to Buxton with long term partner, after a working life in Sheffield; initially at a brewery after Uni, and then as an electronic/network/optic-fibre engineer. Interests; nature, photography, engineering, motorbikes, amongst others. Centre left politically, with no allegiance to any particular party. I saved up for retirement, with a view to spending as much time as possible travelling the world, then Covid hit, swiftly followed by feeling older and more decrepit. 😉 In retrospect, maybe do what you can while you can, and enjoy it; hopefully making other peoples live better along the way where possible.
Slighty batty
Slightly Batty here, all 5 foot 1 of me. When I was your age Holly I was desperately flat chested and longed to have boobs. Now I’m old I’ve got the desired Titanics, but unfortunately I’ve also got the fat bum and fat arms etc to go with them!!!! A colleague once told me I had “Dinner ladies arms. Arms that would give you a lovely big helping of treacle pudding, and cuddle you if you cried.” Perhaps she was right because nobody leaves my house hungry, I love cooking for people. I used to work in logistics but now I’m retired. I’ve got 3 sons, 4 grandsons, 2 little princesses, a partner with a crazy sense of humour and a sleepy old cat. I like anything to do with gardens and flowers, and love visiting old houses, castles, art galleries and museums. Good luck with your fighting, my dad was an amateur boxer and he loved the sport.

I had a magnificent bosom in my youth. Now I have to add it in to my waistline measurement...🤔 Be careful what you wish for...
