To be honest a lot of this is snobbery. Vince Cable is apparently a ballroom dancer and the Mail / Express don't scream like banshees when he puts his dancing shoes on.

Gove was pilloried for his antics and also accused by many of taking drugs!

 

For what it's worth Ange should be able to go wherever she wants in her own time.

And if you're going to go on about "she's on holiday" or "she deserves downtime" or "parliament is in recess" - then why has she been constantly Tweeting government stuff since the election?  She can't have it both ways.

The criticism of Raab above was about him being on holiday, and not coming back during the Afghanistan Crisis when interpreters and men from Afghanistan who helped UK soldiers, were left to the mercies of the Taliban:
