My car has a button handbrake, but far more importantly it has the facility to put the handbrake on by pushing the foot brake when the car is stationary.  I like that a lot.

Mine too, but I also always leave it in gear.

You never know what the future will bring.

It might not be down to choice at some point. Let's face it, insurance companies already have us over a barrel. In future there's no doubt they could refuse to pay out if you aren't using the automation available in a car, and are at fault in an accident.

😂 - My all time favourite vehicle was a (puts on gruff voice)  Nissan Cabstar. We did have a family car too though, but my young Sons used to love going out in the Cabstar for 'truck picnics' Happy days. 👍
