I would have a hard time giving up my coffee , I would be like a bear with a sore you know what . I do remember at school a teacher suggesting in class that I might consider giving up talking for lent. I do remember asking my Mum if she could knit some tops for babies in Africa - I think it was a campaign CAFOD were running in 1984, the same year as Band Aid, so quite a few of us were genuinely moved.
