Smartwatch - Square, cheap & Android phone connectivity

My partner would like a smartwatch and would like something simple, she only needs something that shows the time, has a step counter and can show Android phone notifications/calls. Oh, and she likes square watches. Something that has a reasonable battery life too. She'll never use any complex health functionality, GPS or maps. She occasionally borrows my Galaxy Watch6, way too complex or expensive for what she needs, probably for me too, plus I only get about a day and a half before re-charging.

 

There are an array of cheap smartwatches that seem to fit the bill, primarily Chinese, and around £30 - £40. I liked the look of the Garmin Venu Sq until I saw the price.
