Israel has hundreds of Palestinian hostages, some  have never been tried or charged with crimes, but they prefer to call them prisoners...but they are little more than hostages.

They are terrorists or suspected terrorists and not hostages who are in Israeli prisons for reasons including national security.  During World 2 Germans living in the UK were interned for reason of national security.   There is no comparison to the way Iran behaves who put innocent people in prison  and hold them hostage.

Is it the same one that's conducted countless attacks on civilians over the decades?  The same one responsible for the massacre at the Munich Olympics? 

 

You can't overlook the crimes of either side, both are as bad as each other.

I think the Palestinians are so desparate, that could have been their intention.

They were effectively imprisoned in Gaza with Israel supplying the food, water and power.

Their occupation of Palestinian land is illegal, they know it.  They won't stop, they'll use the continued attacks as a reason to continue.

 

You get the feeling it suits the Israelis well, they can continue to do what they want so long as the Palestinians continue to give them an excuse to ignore all laws.

Crikey Jezza, I didn't realise you could smuggle rockets and missiles into open air prison camps and have tunnels everywhere. I guess you learn something everyday.
