Israel / Gaza / Lebanon / Iran War Thread

People forget that Hezbollah and Hamas started out because of Israel's occupation!

They never existed before - so the more Israel goes about expanding its hold over Arab lands, the more we will see resistance. John Mearsheimer said it right- stop the occupation and then find the solution.

Israel will not want to stop because it is hell bent on wiping out Arabs and grabbing land.

When have Israel said this?

Do you have a link providing that statement as I can't recall seeing or reading that?

Both Israel and Palestine (Palestinian leaders)  are guilty of crimes against humanity,  so are those who are supplying weapons,  what has been done cannot be undone,  Biden must stop supplying weapons and then Israel should allow the Palestinians to leave.

They could have left ages ago, but Egypt wouldn't allow it.

Strangely there wasn't much uproar against it, seemingly everyone wants to 'help' the people of Gaza, but no-one wants them.

It's called virtue signalling.

Those that are in a rush to get to the front of this modern phenomenon are usually the ones with something to hide, but it gives them a warm sensation but they fool only the naive.

An example being those that shout " refugees welcome here" but when asked if they can accommodate any to help, shy away and make lame excuses.

Their outpouring of fake empathy helps them rid the guilt of past misdemeanors.

When did Egypt say the Palesintians were welcome there? 🙄

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/virtue-signalling:

"Virtue signalling is the popular modern habit of indicating that one has virtue merely by expressing disgust or favour for certain political ideas or cultural happenings."

A claim that in itself is little more than virtue signalling. 🙄

You couldn't make it up! That must be a lot of past guilt! 🤣

Does any of that only apply when when you're not the one doing it? 🙄

Egypt won't allow Palestinians into their country,  what about Jordan,  could they be given temporary passports?

They won’t let them in because israrl will not let them back in and most Palestinians would rather die then abandon their land…

Israel would love for Palestinians to emigrate so that the Israelis can continue their land grab.

Maybe you should educate yourself on the matter before posting something that is not correct=

@mafya perhaps you should educate yourself first.

Gaza was Egypt and West Bank was Jordon until Egypt and Jordan (with Lebanon, Syria and Iraq) decided to invade Israel and were promptly beaten back.

It is no stretch to say that Gazans are Egyptians and that Hamas are Muslim Brotherhood Egyptians.  Egypt knows this and that is exactly why they don't want Gazans in Egypt because the proscribed Muslim Brotherhood have brought more strife to Egypt than anyone else.

Since aggressing against Israel both Egypt and Jordan have successfully made their peace with the state of Israel and both are modern functioning nations that aren't in permanent conflict with their neighbour. That's why they don't want the Palestinians. The border is generally open but the latest closure border closure is because a Palestinian terrorist went there and murdered three border guards.
